Job Description
Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production, has some exciting, and challenging career opportunity at its Smelting Division.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced persons to fill the vacant position of Human Resources Clerk on a fixed-term employment contract basis, renewable subject to performance: -
Duties and Responsibilities
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Creating of employee personal files
Filing of employee personal details both electronic and hard copy
Resolving employee queries and complaints where possible
Advising employees on the company policies and procedures
Update accurately on-line employee personal records
Assist in development of training plans and coordinating training programs
Assisting training evaluation and follow-up assessments for training effectiveness
Updating employee training and developmental records
Assist in the processing of Pensions, Funeral Services and Medical Services
Raising stores, purchase and work orders requisitions (e.g. for repairs to equipment,
PPE, etc.)
Process supplier or contractors’ invoices for payment
Qualifications and Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Diploma in Human Resources Management or Equivalent
A Degree in Human Resources Management or Social Science will be an added
advantage
Two years working experience as a Human Resources Clerk in a Mining or Heavy
Industry environment
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suit and an ERP system, preferably SAP
(HCM Module)
Working knowledge of SHE and Quality Systems and exposure to the NOSA SHE
System will be an added advantage
Good communication Skills
Strong people management skills and team player
